it’s in the details

Lined Drawer
When I first started collecting antiques in my 20’s, I always loved looking in the drawers to find newspapers lining them as well as wonderful wallpapers of the time. It was like stepping back int another era. Who used this piece of furniture, what were things like for them?
I have always enjoyed having scented papers and sachets in my drawers to give a nice fragrance to clothes. When I started manufacturing my own furniture, I decided that we would always hand-line the drawers of our pieces. This has become one of our signatures that I am very proud of.
You can also line drawers on your existing furniture. Simple wallpaper and wallpaper paste is all you need. Scented drawer paper is also a nice touch- just cut to size and lay in the drawer.

Could you do more posts like this one on the process of making furniture as it is very intresting.

Also in the above pictures there is a blue chair frame with gold leaf detailing that looks like it has a round or oval back. I could not find it on the website in your product list. Looks beautiful! Can we know more about it.

Thank you and welcome to the blog world.

Thank you, I would love to write more about how we make our furniture. The chair frame you saw was actually a new chair. It will be on the website within a few weeks. Please feel free to contact our customer care until then.
